We’ve been experimenting with the centuries-old Japanese technique of shou sugi ban, which translates roughly to “burnt cedar boards.” A limited collection of pieces distilling this technique into our signature style will be unveiled at ICFF this spring - contact us for details.
Our latest project, Saul, opens next week! Saul is an iconic Michelin star-rated restaurant that is moving from its Smith Street location to inside the Brooklyn Museum. Uhuru designed the interiors and fabricated many of the key elements in the space. Stay tuned for more pics!
